Project communication

Thank you for your interest in the Community Engagement Project. The project is proceeding well, and we expect to have a successful completion in June.

The project consists in the recruitment of 25 participants from various organizations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors in Central Alberta. These participants work together in a series of workshops related to human diversity. The project coordinator follows up with them to measure how the information from these workshops is being applied in the participants’ workplaces and civic life. At the conclusion of the project, they will elaborate a community plan and toolkit for improving diversity awareness in Central Alberta.

I’m attaching a copy of our brochure on the project. This is a pilot project, and we hope to offer it again in the future, with some improvements suggested by the evaluation process.
The Community Engagement Project is made possible by a grant from the Multiculturalism department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and a grant from the Swift Current. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like further information.

Thanks!
